Robots, such as Androids or Mechanoids, are reasonably common, though the more intelligent they are, the rarer they are.
Mechanoids, the less advanced robots, are usually found as helper robots, and generally do not look very human. They can perform many, many functions, however. Like most machines in this day they require frequent charging. Mechanoids are fairly cheap, so many people, especially civilians, can afford them.
Robots, the general term for machines that lie between Mechanoids and Androids, are more intelligent than Mechanoids, and can perform functions that a low-wage human probably could. They are generally somewhat human like, but are still very obviously mechanical. They are more expensive to buy than Mechanoids, but still within the budget of a reasonably well off person. They also require charging, indeed, for longer than Mechanoids.
Androids are the robots that are absolutely top-of-the-line. Indeed, they are almost impossible to tell from humans, they can do most jobs that a human could do. Whilst they are very expensive to buy, and require a long charge period, it is estimated that more than half of all the androids currently in service are masquerading as humans. However, if they are discovered in a position which makes them dangerous, such as being a politician, or a pilot, they are in danger of discovery and deactivation, so the majority of them are in quite mundane occupations.
Mechs are possibly one of the most prolific robots in the known world: Whilst they do not exactly outnumber other kinds of robots, they are the most obvious. They come in many flavours, both human-like, and Zoomorphic, or animal-like, and are usually very heavily armed. Whilst to buy, these are very expensive, due to the survivors of the Domination War being mostly soldiers and mercenaries, there's usually at least one Mech in the family. If not, there are a few wreckages worth salvaging.
