Zane fiddled with his hands rather nervously outside the mechanic's garage - He'd broken Epyon rather badly, and he couldn't fix the thing himself. Why he'd gone to Coronet, though, was rather a mystery - There was a proper law system here, and he was a bandit... Still, nobody had asked any questions yet, so he was quietly confident in his chances of getting out unscathed - Besides, it wasn't as if he had 'I AM A BANDIT' emblazoned on himself, or his mech. He just didn't quite have a plausible story for what he was pretending to be yet... Probably something he should have thought about on the way there...

Sylph paced about Coronet - After the bandit attack, she'd dragged her tiger to Coronet, and traded what little she had for the reparation of her mech. So, she'd had to strip her mech of all inessential parts, and sell 'em off, but at least the thing would be fully functional, instead of having to limp back to Zephyr, hoping they wouldn't get attacked again. Which they would: Nothing attracted bandit attack like a limping tiger.
Hmm... She should probably get back to the mechanics - They might be done by now. You never know, miracles did occasionally happen: Perhaps the Brastle Tiger wasn't quite as damaged as she'd assumed.
When she finally got there, however, it was a very different story: Apparently, the attack had damaged the core system her mech ran off, meaning that the thing could explode any time she fired a weapon... Perfect. Just perfect. The mechanic said they were doing all they could, but Sylph reckoned that the whole 'miracle' thing had been completely debunked, so, of course, her tiger would turn out to be a ticking time bomb. Because, you know, life liked to do things like that.
Sylph sat down, and ran a hand over her mechanical arms. Another mech explosion would not be particularly awesome. In an effort to distract her mind from that sort of thinking, Sylph turned to the person sitting next to her, and attempted to strike up some conversation: "So, what're you here for?"

"Me?" Zane jumped at the sound of a voice, "Oh, my mech just needs some maintenance." Technically that wasn't a lie - Epyon was in need of maintenance. It was simply that he needed more than he was eating on. She had no need to know that, though. She was just some random chick in Coronet city - Probably got beaten up in one of those stupid sanctioned matches (why did they need those, anyway? Beating people up was what bandits were for!). Still, he would pretend to be polite, if only to maintain his cover. "How about you? The same, I suppose?"

"Ah, yeah. I got ambushed out in the wastes."
Sylph shrugged rather nonchalantly - She didn't really care all that much if he knew: He was, as far as she was concerned, nobody. Just some guy who'd probably left his mech too long in his garage - He kind of struck her as the sort of person who might just do something of that nature. Then again, she never had been very good at judging people, so perhaps he'd gotten ambushed too, but simply didn't wish to discuss it. Well, that was alright, she'd just change the subject.
